Cheap 993 on "For Sale" forum...weird experience
Here's another guy who had a similar experience to me, and also a link to the car for sale:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?threadid=313870 I actually went into LA and drove this very car, so its not a scam. A bit of a rough interior, but it drove nice and seemed OK. Has been repainted but doesn't look like it ever had serious damage. The guy was very impatient and pushy..."are you going to buy this car or not? Why do you want to know its history, doesn't this car look and drive fine?, you are just wasting my time" In spite of his rudeness I offered him asking price in cash pending a VIN check on CarFax. He said no, decide now or the price goes up. Ummm...I'll pass thanks. So I get a call a week later from this guy and his buddy who sounds like he's heavily intoxicated. They try to pressure me into buying again. The intoxicated buddy talks about how he had a Greek orgy in the back seat and got ***** stains on the leather which dried in the sun. I was laughing at first (one back seat DID have a brown stain) but then he asked me if I liked to suck, and this put an end to our conversation. ![]() Quite a humorous experience, but I wasted an entire evening on this fool. In a word, stay away. jkarolyi Last edited by jkarolyi; 11-09-2006 at 10:02 AM.. |
