'89 Anniversary edition cab - turbo look value
May have an opportunity in the near future to purchase an '89 anniversary turbo look cabriolet. The car is in excellent condition inside and out and has 59,000 miles on it. The only potential issue is the top is showing its age so it may need to be replaced.
According to PCNA, only 43 turbo look cars were built in 1989. Of that I have no idea how many were anniversary models and were also cabriolets. Any idea on the value of this car? |

This indeed sounds like a very rare car. Let's break it down a bit to find a potential value...
A 1989 911 coupe with the condition and miles of this car could bring maybe $25,000 (if not more). Cabs typically bring $1000 to $3000 more. Then add in the Anniversary Edition option code and that option could bring another $1000 to $2000. PLUS, the M491 option which may bring another $2000 to $5000 over and above the other options. I'm not sure what a new top would cost...maybe $2000? I would suspect you could bargin that new top costs off the price of the car...? So, you could be looking at a $27,000 to $35,000 car depending on the season, geographical location and ultimate condition. Sounds like a very interesting car! Good Luck, Jay 90 964, 84 3.2 |
