I paid 10k cash for my '79 with much the same specs including complete tranny rebuild. Only reall issue is that it needs paint bad.

A picture tells a thousand words. Sc's go from $10-12K would be my guess on what you've disclosed. Maybe a $15K car.. all depends on how well you've identified items.

How's the headliner?
What size fuchs? (color matched or regular?)
Pop-off valve in the airbox?
How "low"? - just reindexed bars or are TBs replaced?
how's the driver seat side bolster?

Are you buying or selling? If you want premium dollars for your car, then you just need patience until the right buyer sees the ad. You can always lower the price if it doesn't draw interest. If something sells in a matter of hours instead of days or weeks, you can be pretty sure it was priced below what the market would bear. Many sellers don't want to deal with the extended hassle of selling and are happy to get a good price instead of the best possible price.

I sold an '81 SC here a few months ago. A thread was started here and most agreed it was a nice car, but some mentioned it was priced high at $14,550. It sold in 2 weeks at my asking price and there were multiple buyers in place.

The best thing is to be completely honest in your ad so you don't waste your time or the buyers who might fly in from other areas.
