help needed to ship car to Europe

I would like to buy a car at the west coast and need it to be shipped to an European destination. The problem is that the car is not drivable, but rolling. I find it quite difficult to find a shipping company who can handle such a car.
Has anyone experience with that or can recommend a company? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks Michael

I used Aladdin Freight in Oakland; they pack into a shared container, shipping cost was $975 US to London (via Rotterdam). Unloading, customs clearance etc. in Europe is extra - payable to the agent(s) who do it.

Ship leaves on the 15th of each month, takes 4 weeks.

Aladdin deal with everything, from piles of metal that used to be rare old cars, retro yank tanks to nearly new SUV's and exotica.

My car turned up dusty but undamaged, with all the personal belongings I packed in it intact, including tools. It would have cost as much to ship them any other way as it would have to replace them outright, so this was a calculated risk - I think the main risk is on this side, after the car is unpacked on the dock, personally.

You should be able to find many transport companies capable for flat-bedding a roller car from anywhere in the continental US to the warehouse for packing.

Kristine (she's originally from Germany) is very efficent, helpful and straight-forward - she can probably even recommend a flatbed service. I would use them again without hesitation.

Aladdin Freight: +1 510 533 0400

Hope this helps.
