what do you guys think of this, part 3
Here is the link
seems like a nice T to S mild restoration, thats gonna go cheap.... paint is required to be a nice weekend car...but...all and all???? looks for some critical judgements and things to ask... another question: he is also looking at a 71T, the vin comes back as "karmann built" I see that stopped in 1971. Is that something he should worry about? not as good? hurt on resale? thanks as always guys for you thoughts. |
hmmmm looking for thoughts....
and if anyone has any insights as to the implications that karmann built has please let me know... or if it is of no concequence then let me know that as well thanks Nick |
BUMP, looking for some replies...

FIAT invented rust
and licened it to karmann true or not karmann has rep for rust |
Looks like Motor Meister rebuilt that engine...the red fan of death! Stay away!
Doesn't make a difference if its made by Karmann or Zuffenhausen... these early cars all rusted unless they were in a very dry climate. Porsche experts (at least all that I've heard) state that there is no quality difference between the two body builders. |
