How much would you ask/take for this 72?
Reality is that I'm not going to do this project, so I'm considering selling to someone who will. It's a very straight, tangerine, non-sunroof 72T coupe. The rear seat pans are rusted out and so is the front pan. But the rest is surprisingly nice and straight. What's a fair asking price for the roller? I'd rather not mess with ebay. I don't have a title (easy to get) but I do have a drivetrain for it (a T motor and 915/5spd)

Ok. Is $3k about right?
|
No its worth more than that if it has drivetrain. Go at least $5,000.
|
5 is about right
|
Thanks, guys. Any takers?
|
ill go 3k if interested
|
too far away for me. THanks

Prices seem very confusing......
I hope you don't mind me tagging on to your thread, I'm in NJ a long way from you so I don't think it will have any direct effect. I have a 72T/MFI that runs well but does need bodywork and paint. I was thinking of 6.5k as a fair price....am I low? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1180070979.jpg Picture taken during minor sugery (caliper replacement) |
Jeff M,
Check your PM or email. Thanks, Brad |
Jeff M is too low and CConner is too high.
Jeff -- I'd ask for a minimum of $13,000 and then see what offers you get. As for the rusted hulk in question -- Take that $3,000 before the guy changes his mind. I mean, anyone willing to buy a car needing north of $30,000 in work to make it worth $25,000? That's a guy who loves early 911's. SmileWavy |
is the car still available?
|
mine is and I need to sell
|
Cab, I sent an email.
