Value of 1969 911E MFI Matching Number Car
Curious to know what you guys think a 1969 911e is worth.
The car has the original MFI motor, is complete and is original except for the steering wheel. Needs a little Work and TLC, but rust repairs have been made over the years and new floor pans have been welded in. Orig. Fuchs and headrest seats. I'm considering selling it in the next few weeks. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! |
well, here's the price range on the early 911 cars:
20K to 85K LOL |
Condition!!!!
When you say it is original,I want to presume you are using that term literally. If it has original paint, interior and the engine has not been out,let that be known.Too many times ,I have seen the term abused.Even a high mileage car is worth a lot more if these criteria are met. Then the condition comes into play and we all know that it can vary all over the map. Then comes the sale.Take decent pics of the right places.Show the floor pans, trunk sans carpet, battery box, seats and engine.Lastly, have a good paper trail.Receipts for work are a must. The list goes on! Color? If it is a signal color,it`s a bonus.Don`t generalize and be specific in the description.Tell us more and you will get a better idea on pricing. Tom

Important details to include:
Original radio? Full door panels, not cut for stereo speakers, that have both the front open map pockets and the NLA fold-out map pockets under the door arm rest? Headrest seats mean standard seats? Condition? Tool kit? Original color? When was it resprayed? Since it's an E and left the factory with the horrid soft "Comfort" suspension, when was that replaced? And with what kind of shocks? Sway bars? Stock H1 headlights? Original steel front bumper or after-market FG front splitter? Any funky extras? thermometer for exterior air temp? Rear window wiper? All these things and more can be the difference between lucky to get $15,000 or fielding multiple offers for over $30,000. Good luck. SmileWavy |

Dude! Unless there's some HUGE defect you're not telling us about, I'd say you're about ten grand shy. If it were my car with those details, I'd ask for $22,000 and see what happens. (I mean, if I ever sell my '69 911E? I'm starting at $33,000.)

Why start at $33,000?
There is a soft window Targa on Ebay that is going for over $100G's now. That will through off the pricing bell curve;) |
