What is the current selling price of a 904

Have you seen 904s for sale?
How much do you think one should cost?

904

I'm looking for one. Any condition is fine, even junk.

Put me down for one. While you're at it, I could use a pair of early 4-cam engines, a crate of NOS hood lights, and 4 sets of sport seats. I have $200 to spend.

Since there are so few 904's available, I am sure they aren't even listed on pelican. That said, a top condition running/rebuilt 4cam MOTOR alone is about $60-75K. Now add rare, complete (maybe with race history?) chassis = maybe $200K?

Probably a lot more than $200K now.

Current sale price 904 ?

I most recently saw a 904 for sale on Santa Monica Blvd and La Cienega at
Heritage Classics,in Los Angeles with a four cam motor needing rebuild at $450,000.00
Oh ,the date was approximately seven years ago when I went in to get a closer look at a Tangerine'73 RS nut and bolt resto Touring example that at the time was priced at $85,000.00 (which mistakenly I thought a tad high!)
They also had Revsons IROC and an RSR out of europe ,pink in color i think,
those were already in the 600 range ..couldn't resist asking even if I was
dreaming a bit! Thanks Bert

Buyer beware there.

When I bought my 550A, I passed on a 904 for $8000. The Spyder
was so much fun!
