Early 915 trans from 73E 911, 7:31 ring and pinion-price check?
Im not sure if this is the place to put this but here it is...Trans from 73E a 915 gear box was on the garage floor when I bought it. If turning the splined shaft only the left side turns, although if I turn left side of box, the right side turns oposite direction. It wont match the later speedo and electronics so its gotta go to pay for later one. Someone told me its a 7:31 ring and pinion. Whats the going rate for this gearbox? and how can i tell if is a lim slip?

If the shafts turn in different directions, no LSD.
