Valve Adjustment

I am about to have a 73 CIS shipped across the country and the seller tells me that the valves need adjusting (only 3k miles on rebuilt motor) and adjusted for altitude difference.

Due to scheduling limitations, I will need to drive the car 400 miles to my house (from where I am having it shipped) and wanted to have the valves adjusted there. Do I run any risk of causing damage to the newly rebuilt motor by running the car 400 miles with a valve adjustment due?
