what is considered a top end rebuild on a 911 engine?

I am gathering information for my first valve job and ring replacement for my 2.4cis motor. I plan to take the heads to Ollies in Santa Anna. I am also updating to oil fed chain tensioner. What eles should I consider doing? Ive heard mention of a top end rebuild what all does this entail? I plan to use the car as a daily driver and week end get away.

usually means just the heads were redone, i.e., a valve job.

if the pistons and cyls were replaced, that would be more than a "top end" rebuild, to me.
