86 to 73S clone..anyone know it?

Does anybody in VA Beach know this car? Seems like the majority of the work was done there by the PO. Seems like a nicely done 73 clone on an 86 chassis. Any opinions?

looks nice, but the seller does not seem to know about the cut-off date for the sc model. also, it is a motor meister rebuild. uh-oh.
i do like the opening vent windows.
he is a pca member. for what that is worth.
i would like to know how much he is looking for.

Yeh I noticed who did the motor rebuild but it seems like it has some miles on it with no problems (at least mentioned). I know of EuroSport in VA Beach, they've done some work on my car when owned by it's PO who lives down there and it seems they're a reliable shop.

Saw his ad on craigslist (I think)--he was asking $23K+

Found it:

It does look like a nice backdate, but the MM rebuild put me off.

would make a nice roller.

This car changed hands on eBay over a year ago and there was a thread about it here on Pelican. Someone savvy with the seach can find it.

I've searched but don't come up with anything.

Don't know the car but think its a novel if not slightly wacky way of depreciating a decent car..
Maybe the original body got destroyed in a hail storm or some other such natural occurrence and
PO felt this was the the most expeditious manner to recoup his loss?
Backdate wave and all withstanding this car shouldn't pass the value of any other '86 IMHO...
Thanks Bert
