SEEKING 911 Renegade/SBC V-8 hardtop; $200 Finder's fee

Yes, I'm looking to buy a 911 hardtop/sunroof, post 1977 (galvanized body), with a Renegade Chevy/GM V-8 conversion;
- Must be at least 95% sorted out;
- Prefer TBI (fuel injection);
- Prefer the LS series engine (all aluminum), but SBC just fine;
- Must have AC, or plumbed to hook it up;
- Heat must work too;
- Prefer sunroof model;
- Really would like widebody;
- NOT LOOKING FOR A RACE CAR! -- must be tractable in street -- NO 1000HP CARS.
Also, no megabuck$$$ cars -- might as well get a new Porsche, huh?

Not interested in another "forever" project car with impossibly expensive used Porsche parts -- car needed as daily driver for wife.

Will pay $200 for any leads that prove successful and lead to car purchase.

i have one similar but not for sale!! it is a gulf blue rs lookalike built on a 71 coupe chassis. it is very tractable and very easy to maintain. it has a 434 cubic inch all aluminum sbc .... dart aluminum blockand heads ...engine makes in excess of 600 hp at the crank. car weighs 2200 pounds and has the usual performance modifications to the suspension, wheels, brakes etc. also has a short 930 gearbox with kep stage 3 clutch and pressure plate. there was one on ebay a while back that seemed to be well done but had an unusal paint scheme. might try a search in the off topics forum...was about 6 to 8 weeks ago. not interested in a finders fee just trying to help...

Still looking for my renegade. Appreciate the numerous leads, as well as excellent experience-based advice. So far, the cars have either been too high performance for daily street use, or don't have AC near-enough to be easily hooked up, or cost $50K.
