Porsche Crest 1976 w/83 3.0 & sc flairs

Had it for sale a while back but changed my mind. Just curious what you guys think it may be worth. The interior & paint are excellent! The 83 3.0 has 100k and has been well serviced. I have owned for two years & last owner for 18yrs.
Has orig 915 trans. NO GRINDS, just a little tough in 1st. All the upgrades, chain tentioners, pop off, etc. Has a K&N, w/cat bypass at this time, but has passed smog w/cat a few months back. New tires & polished 7's & 8's.
Calif. car NO RUST AT ALL!
223,800 on body, but alot has been replaced!

Non original motors are typically value reducers, but in this case, the 3.0 liter out of an SC probably increases the value. I look at your car as a 100,000 mile 911 SC since there isn't too much difference from a late mid year and an early SC other than that wonderful 3.0 liter.

The Carrera front valance (and rear tail?), while not original, won't reduce value much.

If the condition of the car is excellent other than a wearing 1st gear syncro, I would guess that this car could bring in the low teens. Any short hood 911 that runs well, shows well and has proof of being maintained well will bring above $10k. This car could have a lot of eyeball if you photographed it well and concentrated on the strong points in a for sale ad.

If you've got a catalytic converter and an original paper air filter set up, slap those items back on the car to bring it back to a more 'stock' configuration that would easily pass emissions (tail pipe and visual inspection) for the new owner. There are many jurisdictions that require the new owner to pass an emissions test before being able to register the car.

Good Luck!

Jay
