Wayne Gretzky's 930 @ Barrett Jackson
Here is a link to Gretzky's 89 930 Cab for sale at B-J on Sunday. Looks like a very nice car. Any guesses as to what it might go for?

Gretsky probably owned it 6 months and for the past 17 years it has passed through 10 additional owners.

Mentioned this story to a buddy at work today (He knows hockey not cars). He came up with the crazy idea that the car would sell for $99,000 (purchased by crazy Canadian hockey fan). I laughed. He demanded we bet $20 on it. I told him he was nuts and I would give him $80,000 and over to make it interesting. I am fairly certain I just made a quick $20.
Cheers

Suspect that BJ will be off this year. Best of the best will sell OK, but cars like this one will languish. Will see soon enough

This is really not their type of car, its not American iron. With the slowing economy and perhaps the passing of the peak hype for this thing it might be slower then last year dollar wise.

I though it might go $65,000 - $70,000. Looked like a very nice car. Guess the hockey players left early.
Cheers
