'74 Euro Carrera clone...roller?
I'm weighing some options in my car herd thinning project, and one possibility would be putting up for sale my 95% track/race car but as a roller. I'm trying to establish a value, and possible interest.
It started life as a '74 911, had body work and engine work added to bring it to Euro Carrera spec. In short, it's a short hood with RS/SC style flares, and a duck tail. Full race torsion bar suspension: All of the following installed brand new by TRE: Raised spindle Bilstein RSR struts custom valved Bilstein inserts custom valved and ride-height-correct shortened rear Bilstein shocks Elephant racing bump steer kit Elephant racing polybronze bushings everywhere possible Elephant racing de-cambered ball joints Elephant racing ASP spring plate system New steering rack New turbo tie rods new wheel bearings Tarrett anti-roll bars front and rear with reinforcement plates on front and rear mounts Tarrett camber offset upper strut mounts with monoballs custom RSR style front strut brace hollow 23 front and 31 rear torsions Oil cooling system plumbed to accomodate 275 tires in the rear (current tires are 245 RA-1s) Transmission cooling plumbing installed with left front fender cooler, inline pump and filter TRE Club sport roll bar RS style light weight carpet kit One new Sparco Evo driver's seat Toyo RA-1s (225/245) window net Removable front tow hook Came with the car when I bought it, before TRE laid loving hands on it: slotted rotors (still in spec) M calipers SS brake lines 16" 7x8 Fuchs (951s I believe) original aluminum trailing arms One Sparco Rev passenger's seat FG duck tail FG front and rear bumpers (no smile up front) large, front mount oil cooler Momo Prototipo (quick release I installed may or may not stay) RS interior door panels Windshield wiper reverse kill switch Sprayer delete (one hole has kill switch pull in it) Rear tow hook Sparco 5 point harnesses Other: There's no headliner former sunroof was filled with fiberglass insert; looks fine outside; inside it's obvious The dash is somewhat cracked The car is white, with plenty of rock chips, and as of now, some rubber streaks from the track Gaps are not perfect Doors don't close with that beautiful ping and they're not perfectly flush all around Paint is below average at this point, with some ham-fisted patch jobs It's rust free The car is far from perfect cosmetically, but is a sensational track car, and was on its way towards being a full race car. The plus side of its condition is that you can drive it with utter impunity, with no regard whatsoever for rocks, sand, and whatever else the car in front of you kicks up. At this point, it's a bit over-developed to really enjoy freely on the street, but a little de-tuning could fix that. Possible option, depending on what happens: a no compromise race 915 with new short gears, 8:31, all Wevo internals and side plate, turbo bearings, 80/80 LSD, new synchros, all new bearings, blueprinted housings, custom internal spray bar, and plumbed for cooling. It's a beast of a transmission, which cost over $6k to build. Included would be Wevo shifter with long knob, and Stomski coupler. Thoughts?

If you have the patience, I think you could do better parting it out. Maybe 10K as is (no motor, trans)? Hard to find the right buyer when there a plenty of completed projects out there at a fraction of build cost (30-50% or so)
