1973 911 price

Ive had this car for around 4 years and really just licenced it this year as I replaced all the suspension parts, seats, interior, and many other parts as I planned to keep it. Now I'm just tired of it I guess. So anyway, I'm thinking of selling it. Any ballpark guess's on how much it's worth.

The original color was silver and its a bare metal respray. The motor is a 2.4 but not original to the car. The car looks good, but I'm not a profesional restorer so its not perfect and there is still some sorting out to do. I have been driving it and it is very solid and runs good, it is a little balky downsifting to 2nd.

It has 26/21 torsion bars and new bilstein shocks, new tires, new dash, headliner, seats, ect.

A 2.4 T, E or S engine? Fuel injection or carbs?

Looks good. Hard to estimate value from just a couple pictures.

These days I find the under-chassis condition is a good third of the value of the car. If it's never been rusted or hit, it could bring low to mid-20s in today's market. If the paint is really spectacular, even more. Silver is a very desirable color. 73.5 Ts are very desirable models.

Personally. The "feel" of such a car is a key part of the valuation. "Tightness" is worth a premium. With all the suspension replaced, your car should score well in that regard.

With all the work you've put into it, think about what you could change to bring back the 'thrill.' Maybe + 60-75HP?

Its a 2.4 with CIS. It's still a fun car but now that I'm retired the wife drives my truck most days and I drive the boxster to the golf club. Ive been driving the 73 on the weekends but I have a 71 roller and a 3.2 motor that I'm thinking is the way I want to go.

I had to repair some rust in the lock post area, and the front pan had been replaced at some point so I can't say it's never had rust. There was also some holes in the rear shelf area. It was cut out and replaced with metal, but it was still there. The suspension points and floor pans all look good though. The paint job is good, but not spectacular. More of a 5 footer, there are a few scratches if you look close and some small imperfections that if you look close you can see.

I have though about putting the 3.2 into this car and just selling the roller. It would probably be easier, but this car is fun, you do need to have it in the right gear though. I guess I just like projects and this one is close to done. Still some things left to do though, I guess there always is.
