1980 Weissach price check

1980 Weissach Sunroof coupe...12,800 original miles. Car has been garaged from day 1 and is immaculate. Color is Black(platinum?) power everything. Two sets
of wheels. The originals with the original tires Goodyear NCT's and a
set of BBS gold mesh with staggered 7 and 8 by 16's.

What's it worth? Trying to get a figure so an offer can be made....

Thanks!

I would say it is worth a little more than a comparable SC of that mileage/year. It is cosmetic package instead of an engine package. The BBS wheels are ok, but aren't worth a whole lot unless they are the BBS Motorsport 3 piece wheels. Just my $.02.

Very hard to put a price on something like that. To the right person, it is worth quite a bit.

I think the prices for very low mile, all original longhoods from the 70s and 80s are going up.

This car could easily get in the low $30s, if marketed a lot could get $40K, IMO.

Dont price based on wheels. and THE is ignorant if he thinks you can get 40. If you can, good for you, but dont get your hopes up and dont plan on it. The 2nd by WPOZZZ response has much more merit.

If the Weissach was worth, $30k -$40k, I'd be at my friends shop rebuilding the motor in the Weissach myself. His car has sat for @ 8 years as it needs a new motor, but has no time to rebuild it.

Any minty 12k original mile SC is going to be a hot commodity and could bring $30k without too much trouble if it needs nothing and looks new. So I don't think THE's estimates are out of wack at all. I don't think being a Weissach makes it tremendously more valuable, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see it sell for close to $40k.

With that kind of mileage and being a special factory model, he can get what he wants! If he markets this right the serious collector would gladly fork out over 50K for probably the lowest mileage unmolested Weissach model on the planet. Hell, I would ask 75K!!!!!!!!!!!!
