I can't believe this didn't sell...?

I had my eye on this auction. I thought for sure the bidding would get near the "Buy-It-Now" price.

Any apparent reason why it didn't?!?

The only negative I see is that the car is described as "original" even though it obviously had a re-spray at some time (albeit in the original color...).

I agree, it seems like a nice clean car that should have gotten a little higher.

For top dollar, maybe people are expecting at least new head studs/top end on a 132K mile car?

I think that blue interior is also a deal breaker for a good number of people.

Looks like it has a few paint issues, and I wonder if it's hard to find a replacement dash in blue.

I cannot get over the blue carpet.

I don't think there is anything that great or unique about this one. Values of SC's continue to drop in Cali. And there's no reason to think the values are going to rise any time soon, regardless of the article in this month's EXCELLENCE. If the seller got an offer anywhere over $10,000, he should have taken it.

I am with Sandy except I would guess its worth a bit more then 10K. Looks like a nice clean driver I believe the high bid was a sale if you're long one looking to get out of it.

I am in the market for an SC.

This is a 10k-15k car from what I see in the market, and there are many in CA.

Also many cars in this price range have had some type of work done...top end rebuild, etc. which will make them more valuble.

Thanks

I think he should have sold at $12,750. Bad time to be selling, economy goes down, old car prices go down. I think as nice a car as that is (love the colour), he wouldn't get more for it.
