914 Values?
I know this is more of a 911 crowd but have any one you been tracking the values of 914's? I have one that is a total discombobulation - at least three cars went into building this one (that I know of). I have probably ~$6k into it (everything has been re-done) and the "experts" have valued good ones over $10k but I rarely see them go for over $6k - and that is a good one. Most of the ones on eBay go for $2,500. Would you interpret that as a "time to buy"?
Given a recent amateur motor rebuild what would you pay? Could I get my money out? The fun factor is there! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1213881596.jpg |
have you run it by the guys in camp914 or 914world?

I see a lot that still has to be done based on the picture. The cars are old enought that values are rising, but unless its a "6", you won't see your money back unless finished to an incredible standard and you work for free ;) Most of the "original" 2.0l cars in great condition can fetch 10-12K. Extreme examples of "4s" pull in 15-20K.
You also need to spell out what you have there... motor? brakes? rust? parts available to finish what you pictured for us? |
