Value of a 1969 911E Soft Window?
Looking to see what my car's value is at... possibly looking to sell before the restoration is completed. I purchased the car a few years back and have been slowly bringing it back to a level I think it deserves. I have had the body stripped and a few dings here and there fixed and the paint sprayed. The car when I bought it was as solid as they come. The original engine is being rebuilt as this message is being typed. This is an original soft window with the documentation needed to prove it. I have ordering information from the original owner,I'm the third, with all of his requests, the factory stating that this was no longer standard equipment, and a letter still stating that he wanted the rear removable window. Really neat stuff!
I know that the long hood cars are going through the roof, and from my understanding this 911E is one of only 12 produced in this configuration. I will post some pictures soon to help out with any valuation.... Thanks Mike |
Mike,
Very valuble given the current market for softies. Post detailed pictures on the Early 911 S registry for the most accurate appraisal. Given the proper 100 point restoration, documentation and options it could be close to a 6 figure car. http://www.early911sregistry.org/forum/index.php |
Any idea what the car might be like with the body work done, engine rebuilt... it is in need of interior work and some final assembly of the chrome and headlights and such... in a few weeks this will also be completed though. Still haven't taken the pictures of the most current state... its hard with 3 little helpers! Mike
