Pricing thoughts 944 v 968

There are rules of thumb with 911 and value. But I don't think there are with 944s and 968.

Say there are two identical condition cars for sale next to each other.

One is a 91 S2 the other is a 92 968. Both have the same miles, same options (or lack thereof) and are in the same condition. Say the condition is better to much better than average and the mileage of both is say 60-70k.

Pick a value for one, and tell me how much more or less for the other.

Then, how much do you add for LSD, M030, or recent upgrades like new Konis?

both are fairly low production # cars
so not a lot of them turning over in the markets

the S2 is a 944 and will be a few [ 1-2k ] less then the new style 968
with a low mid teen value on the 968

both are near the lower end of the 911 values and I think that hurts their up side
and too new to have collector interest
gas prices may help values a little but not a lot
