916 porsche factory race transmission

Hi guys. Well the second person working on my car has told me the same thing the first has. That the transmission in my 914-6 is a very rare transmission called a 916 and is a factory racing transmission worth alot of money.

Just curious what the market value is on something like that since I may consider selling it. I'm more interested in a getting a 915 transmission built by wevo and from the sounds of things if I break this in any way it's gonna cost a fortune to fix. Rather see it go to some collector or vintage racer.
