1978 SC - What is it worth?
Hello - I am in the process of selling (first child on the way) a 1978 SC with 58K. The car is extremely clean and runs very, very well. I am the third owner and am looking for feedback on what this car could potentially be sold for. Thanks in advance for your insights.

1) Be careful.. Once sold, you may never enjoy another one
![]() 2) The *wife* issue of "safety".. ugh. .I have this all the time with mine.. BUT. that said, an infant seat, but more likely a front facing child seat DOES work in the front (no airbags ![]() That said, the car looks pretty clean. Like NOAH said, spell out some specifics of the car, highlighting maintenance history and upgrades. You might even pay yourself by having a PPI done so YOU know potential issues for buyers and address them accordingly. SC's range from $8k-20K. 20 is for concours type original cars. I would guess yours is mid teens. Some buyers wont like the wheels or the front valance (non original).. others may see it as a great basis for their own project. Also, its a down market. Folks aren't buying toys right now (since most in this price range were paid for by Helocs for the past 5 years ![]() Good luck!
