2002 Targa: What's it worth?
Here is the description (ad) of a car I am looking at. I am moving up from a 1991 Targa and don't know what this is worth. I have seen values move down in the last 30 days. He is asking 31k and I do not have details on the extended warranty......
Thx ... Mark Deep blue, 2002 Targa, tiptronic, with 68k miles. I purchased the car a year ago with the thought i was going to keep it a very long time. With the arrival of kid #3 and a minivan I need to sell the car. I went through the entire car when I purchased it and did the following: complete major tune-up/service, Fab Speed performance exhaust (nice throaty sound that is not overboard), new tires, 4 year extended warranty with $0 deductible (you can take it to the dealer for repairs) - with 3 years remaining. Car runs perfect and looks fantastic. Xenon headlamps, bose stereo system with changer, carbon fiber interior pieces, upgraded wheel package, etc. Last edited by msark; 11-17-2008 at 08:12 PM.. Thats a pretty decent price with the CPO warranty. I will say this the pool of buyers for an automatic Targa is going to be VERY small so you may be able to work him down a bit.
