Are these early sport seats?

Check the photos on this 74 from eBay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1974-911S-Coupe_W0QQitemZ140312958900QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_C ars_Trucks?hash=item140312958900&_trksid=p4506.c0. m245&_trkparms=65%3A-1%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

What kind of seats are those? They are not high back 74's but the bottom cushions look like a sport seat. Experts, please reply.

By the way, looks to be a reasonable buy-it-now except the rebuild was by MM. So much for that inducement to buy but if those are early sport seats, it could be worth it--take the seats and part/sell the car.

they are not Porsche seats.
Possibly BMW sport seats that have been recovered in red/black .

They kinda look like a set of recaros I have. Not the best pics, but should give you an idea:

I think you're right, BK911, they do look like aftermarket Recaros. In fact, I have a set similar to yours in my 73, but cloth covered. I didn't notice the bulge in the side bolsters on the backs, but after looking at yours, and again at the red/blacks, they look the same.

I have these same Recaro C's as you. I love them. Gemballa and some of the early tuners used them. I have them in my 79 DP935.

Didn't/doesn't Porsche own Recaro? So technically these are Porsche seats?
