Hello:
I am looking at a 1972 T Targa, with 86k, has all original parts, but rust in drivers rocker, gas tank bracket and some surface rust...engine rebuilt at 80k, well documented...painted original color once needs Targa Top redone, fush wheels, ss heat exchangers...car looks good 2nd owner since 1983....but I don't know about doing body work..its not a rust bucket, and its all there, radio, clock, steering wheel, doors, etc, originally from Germany a US GI brought it to US it is about $10,000...I think that's a good buy, your thoughts and help.. hi,sounds like a good deal, the more original it is the better,if it is structurally sound you can always fix the mechanics and it will never depreciate in value if you can raise the car on its own jack you are halfway there, feel free to ask any questions,i have been around my car for over 25 years so maybe able to help, best wishes, frank

Thanks Ed...I appreciate the feedback...I will be taken my pickup down to get it in Tenn....will I have to tow it on a dolly or a large U-haul? It runs but worried about a 700 mile trip.....
I guy have all the receipts but, I must see the car first because pictures never tell the whole story Bill |
