1976 911S Targa
So I am looking at a Guards Red 10976 911S Targa. It has 139K on the clock, runs and drives fantastic. Of course there is the usual TLC items to make it a sweet car.
The Good; It has Corbeau front seats, new fuel tank, filler neck, pump, Nice throaty (without being obnoxious) aftermarket exhaust, new goodyear eagle tires on cookie cutters, engine compartment is very clean with what looks like a new coil. The bad; interior is dirty, targa top needs restitching at a few seams, and a couple spots where the paint has a bubble. There are no signs of rust on this car. Owner is asking 7K What do you think ?

Yup, sorry for the confusion. There are 3 bubbles approximately 1/2 inch in daimeter right where the rear window meets the body. Underneath the car, rockers, sills, suspension mounts are all free of rust. Yes, bubbling is actually a corrosion process, but it is so minor that I stated the car as rust free.

7k is in heh ball park if it truly runs decent and doesn't need major mechanical stuff. i know someone who just sold a 76 targa that ran ok but needed an engine rebuild for 8k. rest of the car was decent.
