Vin decoder
 

Hello , i am looking at a 1974 911 and have the vin and would like to check it against a vin decoder chart, where can i find one online?

I took the following from "The Used 911 Story", by Peter Zimmerman. Hope it helps:
first 3= type (911)
next 1 = last digit of year model (4)
next 1 = engine type (1=911, 3=911s, 4=carrera)
next 1 = body version (0=coupe, 1=targa)
last 4 = consecutive chassis numbers
