'78 930 Market Value

I've located a '78 930 w/90K miles, one owner, silver, sunroof, one repaint (needs another), all original, no modifications at all. Hasn't been started or driven since 2005. Any opinions as to a range of value?
Thanks,
Reed

Any idea why it hasn't been started or driven for so long? If it was a running car, I would say $20-25K.. Not running could mean big buckets of $$ to be spent (worst case is a full rebuild.. at shop rates.. is likely $15K? 911's don't care for sitting and turbos less so.

Hi Racer:
The owner has developed diabetes (diagnosed around '05) and, literally, is going blind. Unfortunately, he has a mechanic that knows NOTHING about Porsche that is going to "get it running".....bad mistake...as a minimum, I would clean the fuel system, but I suspect he will just add gas and try to fire it up.

this doesn't sound like it's going to end well. If he has a non p mechanic "getting it running" and has let it sit for 4 yrs, and not listed a price, run or offer 5k.

Just my .02

Not knowing Porsche isn't so much the problem as not knowing CIS is. Not starting a CIS car for 5 years will likely require a complete fuel system refresh... cleaning out the gas tank, replacing fuel pumps, accumulator, WUR, fuel dizzy, cleaning the injectors, the cold start valve, fuel filter, possibly having to rebuild the AFM and replacing the fuel lines. All that ain't gonna be done cheap or quick.
