Thinking of selling my 96 993....

Should I wait? Are folks even interested in the 993s? This one happens to be a low mileage (~54K) car. I have my eye on another car, so I could see letting it go.

Any thoughts?

TIA

993s seem to have retained more of their value than any standard production 911s other than the early cars. They have come down in price some recently, but I think nice ones will always be sought after.

Don't do it... you will regret it! You will be letting go the only 'as close to perfect' 911 series ever made. Don't let another 993 get moved out of our area....lol. And, if you do finally decide to let it go, no discounts.... let someone pay through their a** for you low mileage example!

edit: the other car you may have in mind may be a 993 twin turbo...! Good Luck!

g_vaxed,
As far as a summer driver, it's a great car and I agree, it may be the 'as close to perfect' 911 built... better A/C, bigger brakes, more HP, yet the 911 feel all the earlier cars make us crazy about. That's why I'll most likely never sell my 88. Thanks for the feedback... totally on the fence.

Here in CA - sold a 77K perfectly set up (H&R) 993 Cab, great color combo (black/black) for $25K. Coupe might bring more - but won't take less time, three months. 993's aren't getting $30Ks now. Folks are asking, but not selling. Definitely a $20K's car. Heck, folks can get into 993 2S or 4S for $30K to $33K (asking!).

Hey, did you ever sell this car? If so, how much? If not, how much do you want?
Thanks!
