Targa Price Help (w/Pic)
Just been advised to post here.
1983 911 SC Targa 126,000 Original Miles. Lett than 10,000 miles since major engine work (below) - Advice sought. Relocation forces sale. Thanks for helping me put a fair number on her. Good - More than $7000 in recent work by reputable porsche schop in Hawaii (Air Cooled Engines). Including... Original 3.0L Engine top end rebuild with all new (24) Head Studs (Stainless Steel Aftermarket) Carrera Tensioners, ramps, etc. New clutch (Pressure plate, clutch disc, throw-out bearing etc.) MSD Ignition, etc. Tranny Flush/ New Swepco 201 fluid CV Boots Repacked/Replaced New OEM Bosch Starter (Flywheel beautiful) New Tires Targa top tight and redone Dash and interior panels very nice condition. All electric windows and mechanicals work well. Includes all receipts, original and complete toolkit, stutgart invoice paperwork was orginally purchased from factory by prominent medical doctor. Original paint - good driver condition. Runs very nicely. $$ recently put in A/C system as well. Bad - Seats (very) worn. Sheepskin covers Logistics: Shipping from Honolulu to LA is $1000. $12K is what I think it is worth. The fact that it is in Hawaii makes it even more difficult to sell to someone in the mainland and narrows the market quite a bit.
