Needing a ball park figure for a 72 911

Been out of the Porsche phase since my second wife, and out of spite bought one and refused to sell it. When it broke things kept popping up (money) and never got her fixed (losing compression in lower end), and refused to get rid of it. I need to let it go, I'll never get it fixed now due to the divorce.
It's a 1972 911t 2.4l mechanical injection Targa (3rd owner) very very little rust. Just been sitting there, so i know someone would actually make the effort in fixing it. I can't seem to find a place to look for a "reasonable offer". I see "project" Porsches on the net and then look at the price, but I don't know if they are "on" anything. Any help would be welcomed.

Ballpark = 10K - 12K given the engine issues, down time, and just a little bit of rust....

Way to many variables such as paint, rust repair, engine rebuild, interior, tranmission. So.....find one in good condition and start subtracting from the sellers price or what you think you could buy it for.....there is your price.

I think..........

That's not the car he described. But, ya. $3000... maybe.

I don't mean to be dissing your car. I would love to have a 1972-3 911Targa. But I was saddened by the pics of the car. How long has that car been sitting there with the roof like that? It looks like rust is really on top of it's mission to make this car a parts car. I hope someone has the dream to save it. Sad.

I looked at the pics again. That whole scene is just wrong. I'd kick in some money just to get that car out of that trailer park.

Easy dude. Not every state has a Porsche on every block. Where are you located?
