Not necessarily a scam. It's low for a 996, but not that low. Those cars are typically going for 20-25, so maybe it's got stained carpets, smoke smell, paint chips, stuff like that that might make it harder to sell

Based on my experience, I would say it is about right. I have a 2002 996 with over 90k miles and asking $21k. Mine is well maintained with no issues, accidents, etc. Since it is a 2000, with any minor issues or questions the price is probably right.

Yup........I'd agree, the price is about right. The 92K mileage "fits" right in too! I've seen other 996's with a bit over 100K for around $16K, including a nice cabriolet! The 996's are probably about the best deal for the money these days. Just make sure that everything checks out though. These cars have their share of problems and it would be very easy to be "underwater" on the wrong one!

I have seen 99-00 996's with 50-60k miles for well under $20k. Many seem to stay for sale for ever even at very low prices. They can be very nice cars for the money.

Ya, a friend just bought a very nice silver '00 coupe w/ 70K miles for $13K + her old VW Rabbit. A whole lotta car for the money!
