Federalization on an '84 euro

Could you guys give me an idea of what would have been required to federalize an '84 euro Carrera imported around '85/86?

Know that the speedo was swapped out....understand door pannel reinforcement may have been required...anything else commonly done in this era to get these cars legal in the US?

Here's a few. Some you have already mentioned;
Ride height, emissions, headlights (H-4's to H-5's), side impact reinforcement, speedo (KPH to MPH), tail light lenses (amber to red), sometimes even the glass had to be replaced, but I don't know about 84's.
