Help me value my Euro 1968 911t
Hello,
So after going around and around on this in recent weeks I have decided that it's really best for me to sell this car. There's two things that are motivating me here. Number one is that I am feeling like the car is too original for the kind of molestations that I would put it through. I'm a hot rodder at heart and this is a solid little car with a good bit of patina to it and they just aren't making them anymore. I want a car that I can flog on and tweak and play with in the way that I have always done with my vehicles. I could probably get over that if it weren't for reason number two; my wife. But it's not the usual wife story. In this instance, this car really was supposed to be for her. I've got my 914 and this is supposed to be her car. She is supposed to be able to drive it in the summer and learn to track it doing DEs with the PCA. She doesn't like to drive the car. It feels too "old" to her. I need to find her a 911sc or something else that's "tighter" feeling. Ultimately she'd like something with a 915 in it, as she's not a big 901 fan. The car is largely original. It has been resprayed, though as you will see in some of the pictures, not terribly well. It was originally light ivory and I consider it a real shame that they color changed it when they "modernized" the car. I'm not going to say that the car is 100% rust free. I hate when people say that when they aren't. I would say it's more like 90% rust free. I haven't dug deep but I think it may need some kidney bowl work. It also has a bubble in the paint on the right front fender in front of the windshield, in addition to the weird random bubble you'll see in the hood picture. But the pan, rockers and sills are totally solid. It's a middle production engine, so it's an aluminum case with mag covers and chain boxes. Weber IDT carbs that I recently rebuilt. The gearbox is 4spd and shifts well. I don't know what else to say until people have questions and comments. So here's an assortment of pictures. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

For anyone who may bump this in the future, my '68 911t was worth the same as a 1986 3.2L Carrera with 100k mi on it with original paint, in somewhat better condition than my '68, I traded straight across with a member who wanted a SWB driver.
