Did Berney buy ever Porsche in Japan?

Because I just spent a week driving around northern Japan and Tokyo and all I saw was one raggedy G-body 911 behind a gas station and a bunch of new Porsches.
Guess old B has them all.

Wonderful place to visit though, everyone was so nice! Go-Karts on the streets is cool too.

Very interesting. Is the fox farm doing "Belyaev" type taming-selection breeding?

No. Only a few of the best ones over time (30 years). Mostly I bought those Subies and GT-R Skylines etc. for a dime, and flogged them for a good quid.

Just a family vacation, but you never really stop looking for Porsches when you drive around.

You paid 6800 yen a head to enter the fox village? Never heard of it, but then ,I don't live in northern Japan. In past years I have bagged two (foxes) in the village, just road kill, both red and put them in my axillary freezer out here in the mountains for my American hunter trapper friend Heath. He likes the pelts, so I did the favor for him and he reciprocated with a couple of deer legs. I just got a deer leg (big hind one) a couple weeks ago in exchange for some dry Sakura cooking wood which is in abundance in my stacks. We do a bit of ol' style horse trading up here. Today using the neighbor's Kubota excavator putting some of his dirt in my veggie patch in exchange for some good sake!

By the way, now bagged 460 30 liter bags of chewy black dirt. I was going to pause @ 500, and work on the veggie patch like I did today. Since they weren't using the umbo (escavator) for a few days I took the opportunity and just jumped!
