Looking for a possible project...value of SC/3.2 with bad interior
 

Been thinking of a project lately. Project would involve ending up with a fairly stripped interior, so condition of interior is of no great concern. Looking at SC's and 915 Carreras. High mileage SC's or Carrrera 3.2's shouldn't be a problem either if the proper shop/receipts pan out for the low asking price/hi miles.

That all said....can one get a decent starting point for a project like this for around $10K nowadays?. Ideally, no paint issues ( other than fade) and no rocker/suspension/pan rust allowed, either.

Further side-note question.....would it be better to get a good overall driver with good interior...and think instead to recover costs by parting out interior pieces?. Is this a bettter "net/net" cost proposition in today's market, rather than buying with known interior issues?

Too unrealistic?
