What's it worth-76 911S with 3.0 SC Swap

I'm considering making an offer on a car, after a PPI of course. It's a 1976 911S with a 1981 SC 3.0 Engine. Seller claims zero rust. Looks very clean, but I'm not sure about the miles on the engine. It's driven often, which I like, so it's far from a garage queen. What's the ballpark value? Does the SC swap add or subtract value? Personally, I like the swap.

Thanks.

$10k with the ability to go up or down 20-25% based on what you find when you look closely at the car.

I think currently an SC swap is value neutral swap. The 2.7s are noted for their failure records but an unknown 3.0 doesn't help much either. In time, the market trend is for ORIGINAL, unmolested examples. I think the mid years are still a few years off from that desireability, but their current scarcity may help them.

As a "driver", a 3.0 is the smart upgrade and those motors have been known to go 200K miles without much issue other than regular maintenance.

Do you really like the color

Yes. It's guards red. Not my first pick as it's so common, but I think it's popular for a good reason. Plus my wife likes it.

To me it should be priced under $10,000. Very little in the description will garner a premium.

Here is a comp.

Asking price is 10.5k. It looks much cleaner than the 76 Coupe in Macroni's link.
