Unhappy I hate to see her go

Ok I am at an impass here. My girlfriend has decided to sell her 1975 911S Targa with a '75 Carerra 2.7 engine. I went to Pomona today to get a feel for what the car was worth and didn't get very far as everything I saw was well over 10 grand in both better and worse condition than her car. So I've decided to come to you guys.

The GOOD,
Body is in very good shape
Paint is good with a couple flaws due to a pedestrian ripping off the drivers side mirror
Interior is in very good condition
Engine runs strong
All the issues with the 2.7 have been addressed no thermal reactors, hydraulic chain
tensioners, divlar studs, silicone valve cover gaskets.
Euro pre muffler exhaust system with a turndown pipe
Carerra whale tail deck lid
16in Fuchs alloys all around

and the BAD
Oil cooler leaks, I replaced the three main seals but was informed today there may be
two smaller ones I missed so it still leaks causes car to smoke a bit from the oil on the passenger side exhaust. This seems to be the only leak left.
It pops out of 3rd gear if you don't hold it in
Rear swaybar mounts and bushings need replaced
mirrors don't work properly. I'm getting replacements for them soon
Odometer never worked but it stopped at 33,000 miles. Also being replaced soon
E-brake grabs but doesn't hold the car very well.
Targa top drivers side hing broke. It's bolted together still but it doesn't seal very well

Additionally I removed the A/C cause it wasn't working and just added weight. I also removed the smog equipment since it"s a pre-smog car and the smog pump seized on
me anyways. I did seal all the necessary holes on the engine. I'm in the middle of
replacing all the heater hoses.

So yea I know it needs work, bits and pieces here and there. I've been putting up the money to keep it as her daily driver but I just got laid off so I can't do it anymore. We decided to sell it and buy a VW Bug since air cooled is all I know and parts are cheap. She also said if we can get enough she'll help me buy a Baja. But I have a funny feeling since it's a Targa and the engine needing the oil leak fixed despite running strong will hinder the value.

I listed it at 8500.00 need at least 7500.00 if it's possible. From what I saw at Pomona this may be fair but what do you guys think. I originally paid 6500.00 not running. I don't have the time or space to part it out.

That seems like a fair price. Why don't you list in in the Samba ?

Pink engine parts would possibly go over better there, and you might get a part trade for the air cooled of your dreams.

A '75S had an identical motor to a '75 Carrera.. so there is no realy gain here.. unless you meant a "euro 2.7 with MFI motor" of which that is not a picture of )
