buying out of state car
I am in California and looking for a 1987-89 911. I saw a couple car ads from out of state. I am wondering how much trouble it is to buy it from out of state.
Do all the 87-89 911 models meet the CA emission requirement, aka '50-state' certified? If the car is not modified, and in good condition, is it easy to pass the CA smog test? Thanks in advance. |

Assuming the car in question is as originally delivered (ie, the engine wasn't swapped out) it should be fine.
