Buying your 964 / 930 carrera 2 from Switzerland

Hello Everyone,

Due to the fact that p-cars in america look far more taken care of then they do over here in Switzerland I would like to buy an older Porsche from your continent.

As a side mark;
As stated in the title - I am really interested in buying your 930 carrera 3.2 and / or 964 carrera 2.
If you have something, which you do not really want any more and is not a big supporter of oil companies (-> no oil leaks preferably), please give me a hint!

How do handle business with for instance out of state buyers in regard to payments? Money transfer?

I would be very careful about buying a car without seeing it, and sending money overseas to someone you don't know. There was a thread on here a while back about an overseas buyer getting burned out of $20000, basically by a scam artist. If you can find a reputable Porsche specialist (Holt or Sloan) to deal with you are probably better off. Better yet fly over here to the US and look at cars and make a deal in person.
