After looking at the comical "4.7L full race 911 turbo convertable" (with Webers!
![]() ![]() He claims it's some kind of "prototype 911T" and maybe it is, but someone has put a slantnose kit on it, a 915 tranny, and it's rusty as hell. Is this really something special, or has this guy just been sniffing too much solvent? Obviously I have no desire to buy a $1M car! My old T is doing enough to bankrupt me! I just thought this sounded so outlandish that I had to check it out. ![]() -Dan |

LOL. I'm sure the Porsche museum is dispatching a buyer to snatch this piece of history up.
Ebay is pretty entertaining. Some guy is always trying to sell dilapidated VDO voltmeters from a junkyard 924/944 for $200. They are identical to the ones you can buy new for $30.

I would have to agree with the solvent issue !
That's two weirdos posting Porsches on Ebay Guy is showing all the rusted spots on his "unique" car,you would figure that if it was so rare the owner would have taken better care of it ... Cheers ! Phil
