Hello
The owner of a 1973 911S Targa called me today to see if I still had a interest in his car. I mentioned this car before, but no price. Pasta Boy what is your take on this? The car is rust free but the owner hit a tree and damaged the left door and windshield post. It has been repaired and the whole car has been stripped and etched of paint. Original color is Silver Med, with A/C, of course all S options including the trim package. Engine is stock with the original carbs and even the air control flap intact. Will try to post pictures, ![]() Is this too much? He claims these cars sell for much more but I think the market is a variable now. Thanks for replies....any ideas on what I should offer??? ![]() I can't load pictures PM me with email and I will send them. ![]() |

a matching numbers and correct 1973S Targa is a $65,000 +/- $3000 car.
$35,000 + $20,000 to complete = $55,000 Negotiate a bit but he isn't far off. as I watch very nice 73S coupes move into $100,000 +/- $10,000 range, it can't be long for the Targas to be pulled up in their wake.
