Euro 911SC value?
I may be selling a 1981 911SC European spec coupe with webers, SSIs with Bursch exhaust, whale tail and RUF front spoiler. Either original Fuchs or 17x7&8.5 Boxster wheels. No heat or AC. Pacific Blue metallic. Garage kept, summer driven. True mileage and history unknown - 57K showing on US spec odometer. Assuming the car has a thorough PPI and is judged in very good to excellent condition, what would be the suggested price range - North East US?
Thanks for your help

I purchased a similiar 81' euro 6 months ago $13,500
I felt I got a good buy; rare euro color, no sunroof, very well taken care of 911 with upgrades. Dentist had really done everything including recent paint work. I was first in line is all I knew and was contacted in this forum by another to keep the second set of fuchs and let him buy it. Hope this helps

You've got a fairly significantly modified car (webers, no heat/ac) with unknown mileage, which I take also to mean no records of maintenance.
You might be looking in the range of $10-12K if the paint is original and there is no accident history. I think "unknown mileage" plus no heat/ac might drive the value down. Webers - unknown what that adds. To some it's a plus and to others not so much. Someone might want to use it as a track rat, especially given the lack of HVAC. Sounds like a nice temperate-weather driver in a nice colour. Cheers w.

Putting webers on this car, to me would mean someone had issue with the CIS and couldn't fix it, or there better be some internal mods like cams to take advantage of a switch to carbs. A carbed SC also will not sell across country in Cali due to emissions.
Does the car have any EPA/DOT paperwork? I imagine if already street registered getting it reregistered in another state should be fairly easy. My euro SC sold for about $12K a few years back. This one sounds like a $10-12K car imho.

Sounds like a cool car but won't the webbers cause smog issues in some states? I don't think you could smog this in California, os that eliminates a large potential market.
P.S. I live in California but grew up in Rochester (Webster, actually).
