eBay 911
Anyone seen this? Interesting, the "Item Location" is Georgetown, Texas. The photos look suspiciously like (read: the same as) the infamous Wyoming collection. The phone number listed is in Washington state. Hmmmmm...

I've seen a few of the suspect Wyoming cars over on the Samba last week too. I wonder if he's actually going to start selling?

the ad also says "Need to sell to get a delivery vehicle for my business. Hate to sell because it is a fun car. I am sure I will buy another in the future once my business takes off." The photos show several other 911s in the background. I guess his business picked up.

Are you serious? You obviously troll this site looking for trouble. The initial post was intended to highlight the fact that the photos were those from prior Wyoming Porsche posts, yet the car was listed in Georgetown, Texas and the phone number is one from Washington state. I think these facts should raise some red flags. Moreover, if you sold the car over three years ago, then what is your issue with this post? No one has asked you to report your sales. To the contrary, many probably would prefer you go hide under a rock, be it in Texas, Washington, or Wyoming.

A word of caution to all: Here is an exchange from one of my comments on the "S reg." My comment I might add, was not directed towards any one specific individual.
John writes "can't wait to see where this bull**** goes" " Steve Kind of looks like the junk 69E you sold on ebay recently. You definitely live by a double standard. What a colossal time waster you turned out to be. Too bad you had to be such a dreamer. You are just coming back into the market too late. Mr. A**Hole" MY RESPONSE: Re: can't wait to see where this bull**** goes "Be very careful with what you say to me John. Considering that I spent a fair amount of time and money to research the viability of buying your stuff, I take what you say with a grain of salt. As far as dreamers are concerned, your perception of the values of your cars is lacking in reality. Otherwise, they would have sold years ago. As far as the junk E on E-bay. I was nothing more than straight with the buyer and would have taken the car back had he felt he had been deceived. Lastly, I do not appreciate your sarcastic comments. I merely gave you an offer I felt was close to reality and you took it personally without any counter offer, nothing. And yes it is about the money. Just like the junk you sell now that was bought years ago for next to nothing. True Capitalism!!! No one in their right mind would buy multitudes of project 911's and restore them all. Simply not equitable. And one more thing, DO NOT CONTACT ME AGAIN. " Perception is reality, unfortunately some perceptions are not based in reality.
