compared to the ebay common, run of the mill 911 auction prices, i'm rather surprised i still have this car. sometimes i think people are afraid of the 930 types. personally, i think this 78 is elegant in its' simplicity. i guess i'll try ebay. i could easily keep the car forever, but, going on 67, i was thinking i wanted something with an auto trans. that, and i wanted to stay in hawaii for a year or two. or three. just an idea.

Return the car to bone-stock. Get rid of all the personalized "doo-dads", put the Crown Royal bag back on your bar, sell the dog-dick red shift knob to a kid with a Honda, re-install Fuchs and A/C, then pay someone to meticulously detail the car.

It will sell then at/near your asking price... Porsche : 930 | eBay Guaranteed.

i already swapped out the shift knob. i never thought the red one looked like a dick, although a lot of emails say it does. i think this week i'll put those FUCHS back on, and add a picture to the ad. or just re-do the whole ad. or ebay it....
no, i won't. i'll get the radio and amplifier jerked out, and the BECKER 220 installed.

I really like the car, but at least for me, I'd want it to be more original like Danny said to pay what you're asking. I'm sure you'll be able to sell it. I'd say since you do have so much extra stuff along with the car (Fuchs, original rear seats & fronts, roll bar and race seats, stereo deck, various wheels and shift knobs and I'm sure other stuff) it would be worth while to just say what you've got in addition to all the original gear. Sadly the top of my price range is about $10k less than what you're asking but if my budget was a bit larger/asking price was lower I'd certainly be into it.
