Interesting video on what we're seeing here every day
Just thought I'd share. Seems pretty relevant. Here's Why You Must Buy A Porsche 911 Today -- AFTER/DRIVE - YouTube

Thanks. Note the reference to Pelican.
This may be the last few episodes of DRIVE, since our funding has disappeared. Working on keeping it going. We'd like to have a $12/year subscription setup. I think that's tolerable to a fair number of people...

Did not know you were involved with Drive. I like your work. I'd consider a subscription. I would also consider advertising dollars if you were to cover Porsche racing, where I make my money.

weenie, can you explain the business model to us? I was not aware an youtube channel . internet show like that needed funding. Seems like a hobby that just needs some decent PC and camera equipment. Obviously, there is more to it, but I never gave it any thought until now.

Thanks, Matt. Because the audience is international, it really mostly makes sense for big brands to advertise (we just finished a promotion for eBay Motors) and we've had Chevrolet, Ford, Sony, Royal Purple and several others on Fast Lane Daily, which is the affiliate news channel. As an owner, I'm not actively involved in production, but work on advertising and production.

The subscription really isn't bad, but not ideal.... are there others who are doing a similar subscription service? |

The content is just part of an overall plan that is a $40 million idea. So there's that...

Interesting video. Too bad there's no 3.2 in the lineup behind the guys. They seem to dwell a lot on the 993 and 964 as opposed to going in-depth on the SC's and 3.2's which is a shame, since the shocking increase in values of late seems to be mostly in the SC and 3.2 market.
Cheers d.

/DRIVE was such a great production. I will be very sad to see it go... My favorite episodes were: the sleeper 1972 Nova the no F*cks given kid with the RX7 the original owner black E30 episode (If that was you) The window tint episode was also great. That was a pretty anemic episode. I could hardly hear one guy and the other one kept interrupting. And the show's premise "why you must buy a 911 today" was clearly not addressed.
