1999 996
Is 14k for a 1999 996 a decent deal? Its one of the lowest iv'e seen but it has about 130,000 miles. Are the miles in a sense a good sign showing that the big bugs are'nt there?
Thanks

I've seen some $16K 996s with 100-120K miles. I imagine higher miles are a good thing on these cars.
That said, expect to have higher than usual maintenance costs (wear items will likely need replacement.. ie, imho, shocks, clutch, motor mounts, "rubber parts" etc). Motors on these cars can still fail "by suprise", so be sure to budget for worst case and hope you get a best case result!

these 996 trade in values is so low pick it up you will love it has a everyday driver,
parts are not that expensive and not hard to get either, i pick one up last yr after yrs of not liking them , as a everyday driver it is just great !!! more like a Mercedes drive then a older 911 check out cars or autotrader tons of 996 with high 100K+mileage get it Last edited by dporsche74; 07-01-2011 at 07:30 AM.. |
