Value of a 77 911S
I took pics of this car yesterday at the shop I was visiting. Just under 28,000 miles. It was pulled from storage after 20 years and the motor was rebuilt. The owner/mechanic says he has a huge amount in it because he didn't think he would have to rebuild the motor. It has a small ding where something fell on it during storage and a small dull spot in the paint. Other wise it was amazing! The pictures don't do justice to how nice this car is. In person it looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. All original down to the push button radio and 5 blade fan. He is asking $38,000. Not in my price range but I did drool a little.

Let the market speak (ebay), but I can't imagine more than $20k for any US spec midyear. Then again, seems everything that once had little value now has too much. Good luck to the seller.
